Camp Theme: Career Exploration

Grades: 6th, 7th, 8th

Camp Description: The Career Exploration Camp offered by the Southwest Technical Education District of Yuma (STEDY) and the Yuma Arizona Business and Education Coalition (ABEC) will offer 160 middle school students the chance to explore various career pathways.

Between STEDY’s central campus and the University of Arizona Yuma, campers will learn firsthand about digital animation, mental health, law and public safety, medical assisting, sports medicine, agriculture and food science and nutrition and human performance. Each day, students will rotate through two of the eight available modules and learn the basics of the subject along with career opportunities in its field.
