**Join Banner Health's Elite Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Team!**

Exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our specialized team of Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons. Our trauma-focused orthopedic team provides critical care to patients with acute injuries requiring surgical intervention. The APP will conduct inpatient rounds, provide specialized trauma care in our orthopedic surgery clinic and serve as a first-assist in the operating room. We're seeking candidates who excel in high-pressure environments and collaborate effectively within a trauma team setting.

**Requirements:**

+ Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with RNFA

+ Arizona state license or eligibility

+ Current prescribing privileges including DEA license for controlled substances

+ Experience in Orthopedic Trauma preferred (will consider new graduates with General and Orthopedic surgery experience)

+ Current BLS & ACLS certification

**Practice Details:**

+ Full-time position | 7 on 7 off

+ Expected to be on-site 8 hours and remote availability after

+ Not usually activated to come in after-hours

+ Post-op clinic 1-2 days

+ Practice consists of 3 other PAs (total 4 with this role) and 4 surgeons

+ Responsible for supporting all of the trauma surgeons
