As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing project activities on Inventory Management, ensuring on time delivery from vendors the successful delivery of projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams and ensuring supply chain continuity (CTB Clear to Bill process). Your strong project management skills, technical expertise, strategic thinking, and ability to drive results will be essential in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. You will report directly to our Regional Purchasing Leader, and you'll work out of our site in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico location. In this role, you will impact efficient project execution, team leadership, communication, issue resolution with effective escalation process, strategic planning, process optimization, data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, innovation and implementation of best practices in procurement and supply chain management
Key Responsibilities
• Leadership of supervision of team of buyers locally and remotely located
• Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, and resource allocation for efficiency.
• Monitor progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for alignment.
• Drive inventory management strategies, optimizing stock levels and reducing costs.
• Enhance procurement processes, working closely with global purchasing teams.
• Partner with Planning teams to improve collaboration and efficiency in planning.
• Serve as a Planning Liaison, strengthening communication between departments.
• Provide expertise in SAP, supporting teams with system guidance and improvements.
• Communicate project updates effectively, ensuring clarity for stakeholders.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
+ Proven track record of driving cost savings and supplier performance improvement
+ Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
