Performs and manages activities associated with the Transmission and Distribution “T & D” organization within the PJP-Team for various O&M and project activities related to the Hv electrical transmission and distribution system in the Highland “HL” and Lowlands “LL”.
**_Additional Responsibilities:_**
1. Safety, supports and helps to implement the PJP safety programs, actively participates in pre-shift safety meetings, helps with risk analysis and SOP development and review. Observes work in progress to ensure safe work practices are followed. Corrects unsafe practices or conditions. Stops work if needed for safety issues. Reports any observed safety issues to the work team and PJP management.
2. Establish and maintain communications with the PJP Management team, T & D team, SCADA team and engineering team. Serves as a resource and supports each group as an electrical transmission technical expert.
3. Serve as a technical resource in day-to-day T & D operations and maintenance activities, supporting the T & D HL and LL group. Including but not limited to transmission & distribution structures and lines and associated breakers, transformers, switches and controls.
4. Serve as a technical resource and assigned as the lead in T & D projects.
5. Develop PJP employees in HV electrical operation and maintenance. Including but not limited to transmission & distribution structures and lines and associated breakers, transformers, switches and controls maintenance, repair, testing, and trouble shooting.
6. Support, and as assigned, lead the routine maintenance planning for T & D work activities and projects. Establish close communication with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Support the other PJP departments, Engineering, Projects, SCADA, Diesel plants and Coal Plant. Also works with the PTFI electrical teams as necessary to support the needs / requirements of PJP and the site.
8. Recommend improvements in our electrical maintenance and testing practices. Assists and or leads in the implementation of these improvements.
9. Review of the results of electrical testing and inspections performed by PJP employees and/or vendors, makes recommendations for issues found in these testing reports.
**Qualifications**
+ Degree or diploma in electrical transmission and distribution maintenance with a minimum of ten (10) years related work experience.
+ Knowledge of transmission and distribution design and application in power systems.
+ Knowledge and the ability to review electrical drawings and equipment manuals.
+ Knowledge of work planning, executing and control.
+ Ability to work with and develop people’s knowledge and skills.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivation.
+ Familiar in operating computer and MS-Office, Excel, and/or other engineering software is an advantage.
+ Multi-disciplined knowledge of the Electrical processes and equipment involved in power generation, transmission and distribution.
+ Strong analytical capability and decision-making skills.
+ Organizational skills with willingness to delegate and mentor.
+ Administrative and management capabilities.
+ Fluent in English (oral and written) and willing to learn Bahasa Indonesia.
