Phoenix Children’s is hiring a clinical nurse for the Plastic/Hand Surgery clinic. This role will require travel to the Phoenix Children’s office on main campus and satellites. The ideal nurse will have a minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience working with surgeons, have outstanding multitasking abilities, must be able to develop/create detailed surgical care plans. Incumbent will be meeting with patients to discuss surgery plans, creating orders, and detailed follow up and care plans for patients. This position does require a lot of phone triage to execute the surgery and care plans for the patient. This role does offer 4/10’s, and you will be assigned a regular day off during the week, which will be determined by the practice manager.

This position, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum. This position advocates for the patient and family adhering to nursing and medical plans of care, regulatory standards, and organizational values.
