**Responsibilities**

**Position Summary** :

The California Hospital Medial Center Early Care and Education programs provide early care and education services for infants toddlers and pre-school children. Staff within these programs are charged with nurturing and stimulating the social emotional language cognitive and physical development of each child. Center-based Early Care and Education programs are open year round from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m Monday though Friday. Duties include:

+ Planning and preparing daily classroom activities.

+ Direct instructional services.

+ Maintaining high quality classroom environments

+ Daily record keeping.

**Qualifications**

+ 2 years of experience working with children birth to five years.

+ AA in Child Development or a minimum of 24 Child Development units required.

+ Current CPR and First Aid training required

+ Bilingual English/Spanish language skills preferred.

+ California Department of Education Teacher Permit preferred

**Pay Range**

$23.00 - $29.00 /hour
