**Responsibilities**

**Job Summary:**

The incumbent performs cleaning, sanitation and other environmental services and support duties involved in hospital maintenance. May access medication storage areas in accordance with their job function and hospital policy.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Basic housekeeping practices and procedures, Proper handling/disposal of infectious waste, Proper safety skills in handling of housekeeping chemicals and equipment, Basic floor care practices

+ Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, infectious waste, floor and carpet care including knowledge of aseptic procedures, detergent/germicide solution and proper use and cleaning of equipment, proper use of safety standards and procedures in housekeeping skills.

Preferred:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

**Pay Range**

$27.26 - $31.04 /hour
