Randstad is currently assisting a Manufacturing company in the Central Phoenix area with a Direct hire search for a skilled Sr. Accountant. The company offers great benefits, including a 401K with a 4% match and a hybrid working schedule. The salary range is $100K - $110K, plus a bonus.

responsibilities:

+ Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.

+ Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

+ Perform complex reconciliations, including bank accounts, balance sheets, and intercompany transactions.

+ Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.

+ Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for process improvement.

+ Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, and adjustments.

+ Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries.

qualifications:

+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.

+ Experience: 4+ years of progressive accounting experience

+ Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.

+ Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

+ Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports.

+ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.

+ Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
