You will be involved in supporting all stages of the systems life cycle, from prototype engineering testing to system qualification testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Qualification test support for avionics products such as weather radar, TCAS, TXD, and legacy Honeywell radio products

+ Willing to learn how to run tests that demonstrate Minimum Operational Performance Standards (MOPS)

+ Troubleshoot test setups when encountering unexpected test results

+ Work closely with Qualification Engineers on ambitious test schedules

+ Assist in modifying test procedures and writing Qualification Test Reports (QTRs)

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

MUST HAVE

+ High school diploma

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or in a similar role

+ Strong technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline

+ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

WE VALUE

+ Experience with DO-160 and Mil-STD environmental requirements

+ Experience evaluating Minimum Operational Performance Standards (MOPS) such as DO-181, DO-185, DO-220, or DO-283

+ Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle

+ Procedure and report-writing experience

+ Working with diverse and global team

+ Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.

+ Ability to adapt to changing project needs

+ Multi-tasking, with the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks
