THE POSITION

As a Lead Strategic Plan Specialist, you will work with cross functional business teams to develop and track execution of the business strategic plan (STRAP), collaborate on new growth initiatives and product strategy for existing and new products, and conduct market and competitive intelligence research that will impact the future of Honeywell Connected Industrial.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Support development and tracking the deployment of HCI Strategic Plan (STRAP) in close collaboration with the Business Leadership, Strategy, Product Management, Technology, Finance, etc.

+ Analyze the performance of the business using different key performance indicators.

+ Coordinate and support development of new growth initiatives with key stakeholders across HCI to refine the strategy, segmentation, and value proposition.

+ Support regular monthly report outs and presentations for senior leadership summarizing the performance of the business.

+ Provide key market insights to senior leadership on competitive intelligence and market trends/outlook.

+ Support the M&A teams to help research inorganic growth opportunities based on technology gaps.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

+ Bachelor's degree

+ Chemical Engineering background preferred

+ 5 - 8 years of strategic marketing experience in industrial software or related technologies for asset intensive industries

+ 5+ years’ experience in market and competitive intelligence analysis

+ 5+ years’ experience with executing growth in B2B

+ Strong analytical skills (Microsoft Excel, Finance Principles).

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word).

PREFERRED

+ Creative collaboration, critical thinking, innovation and influencing skills

+ Ability to communicate and frame complex issues in a concise manner

+ MBA preferred

+ Strategic planning background from management consulting firms

+ Technology – enterprise SW, cloud-based, SaaS - experience

+ Knowledge of process operations / Industrial domain background with an operator, service provider or OEM

+ Customer-centric orientation

+ Excellent organizational and project planning skills

+ Strong communication and presentation skills.

+ Ability to operate collaboratively
