As a Software Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions for our aerospace customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software applications that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise in software engineering will be crucial in driving innovation and delivering high-quality solutions. You will report directly to our Software Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge software solutions that enhance the efficiency and safety of aerospace systems. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and collaborate with a team of talented engineers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutions

+ Develop and implement software applications using programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python

+ Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of software

+ Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve software performance and maintainability

+ Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies

YOU MUST HAVE

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field

+ Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python

+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
