As a Senior Procurement Project Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in managing and executing procurement projects at a strategic level. You will be accountable for overseeing complex procurement projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. Your expertise in data analysis, procurement processes, and project management will be essential in optimizing procurement practices, enhancing profitability, and securing a reliable and agile supply chain.

You will report directly to our Procurement Director and you will work out of one of the five locations listed on a hybrid 3/2 work schedule after your first 90-days of employment.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the company's procurement function by driving successful project execution and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Manage and execute complex procurement projects from initiation to completion to improve organizational performance,

•Utilize project management best practices, deliver inventory and working capital initiatives to improve procurement performance

•Present procurement strategic initiative progress to ISC leadership and executives

•Assess current challenges facing the supply chain and quickly deliver solutions to leadership/cross-functional teams to execute efficiently

•Develop and execute critical initiatives across the Integrated Supply Chain

•Understand the challenges and risks to achieving objectives based on procurement data and performance indicators

•Develop mutually beneficial strategies for short, medium, and long term alignment that better balances supply/demand

•Identify risk in supply chain and develop mitigation plans to manage it effectively through a stable supply chain

•Foster and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure a reliable and attentive supply chain.

•Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to relevant regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies.

•Proven track record of approaching business challenges from a macro perspective and resolving strategic issues effectively

•Ability to lead change and establish operational metrics/key indicators for process control, communication, and performance improvement

•Expert with Excel and Data Analytics, Power Point and Reporting out to Business Leadership
